We ask for an electronic registration form to be completed for each participant before booking is confirmed. Please complete the enquiry form here on our website or message via our Facebook page and we will email to you a form at the earliest opportunity and, once completed, session availability will be discussed so that we can book a session for the first mutually convenient opportunity.
We run sessions 7 days a week all through the year, although mounted sessions take place on certain days only. These can be discussed when you enquire. We are based in Leicestershire, just outside Market Bosworth, but for safeguarding purposes, our exact location is only shared once a booking has been made.
All session leaders hold current DBS checks, have completed Safeguarding and First Aid training and are appropriately insured for the activities that take place.
Sessions are generally run on a 1:1 basis but we do have several families who bring siblings together. We can also accommodate groups of up to four participants for example a larger family or a group of friends. These may require a double session slot so please contact us to discuss these opportunities. We have also arranged “social sessions” between registered participants who we and parents/guardians feel may benefit from each others company.
Anyone! We offer sessions to all children and young people who can benefit from spending time outdoors and interacting with our herd. We work with a vast range of young people who face all sorts of challenges and sessions are tailored to each individual

How do I pay?
Payment is due at the time of the session either by cash or bank transfer. For those who receive funding and require an invoice/receipt we can easily accommodate this on request
We are occasionally able to offer fully funded sessions but currently do not have regular funding allocated so these are available on an adhoc basis. Please contact us via the Facebook page to enquire as to when these are available
Standard sessions are one hour long however we are flexible and other options can be discussed.
Sessions are tailored to the individual and so can include a whole variety of tasks such as grooming the horses, making their feeds, riding and/or handling the horses and learning all aspects of horse care. Some of our visitors enjoy actively exploring the open space during their session while others prefer a quieter, more relaxed time just bonding with the horses in a calm environment. Sessions can be very structured or we can “go with the flow” and let the young person lead us in what they would like to do as we understand that, for some, this may vary from session to session.

Our session fees go towards the upkeep of the ranch but we also rely on additional donations to manage our herd of horses and ponies. We usually have a GoFundMe campaign running where donations can be made as well as an Amazon wishlist of supplies and equipment
